Does Any of This Sound Familiar?
Seeing your own situation on this list is usually the turning point. What comes next is more straightforward than most people assume.
Time Works Against Your Jaw
Bone Volume Keeps Dropping
Without roots in place, your jaw loses the volume that anchors implants securely.
Grafting Becomes More Likely
Less bone often means rebuilding it first, which adds months to your treatment.
Total Cost Increases
Preparatory work added later usually costs more than restoring the arch now.
Adaptations Become Habits
You quietly stop ordering certain foods until the workarounds feel normal.
Fixed Options Narrow
Thinner bone can limit you to fewer designs than you would have today.
Remaining Teeth Shift
Teeth beside a gap drift out of position, complicating how the arch is planned.
Starting now generally means fewer steps and a stronger foundation.
What All-On-X Dental Implants Really Mean
All-On-X is shorthand for restoring an entire arch of teeth on a small number of dental implants (fixed tooth replacements). The X stands for how many posts your case needs, commonly four to six. Rather than resting on your gums, the new arch anchors to titanium posts set in your jawbone.
Position is everything with a case this size. Our team at Galleria Dentistry scans your jaw with a cone beam scanner first, which builds a three dimensional model showing where bone, nerve, and sinus sit before a single post is placed. Every patient receiving All-On-X dental implants in Naples is planned, placed, and restored in our own office.

Wondering If You Qualify?
Your Path to All-On-X Dental Implants
Planning and Scan
Your first visit is largely conversation and imaging. Your dentist examines your gums, assesses the strength of your jawbone, and captures a cone beam scan that maps your anatomy in three dimensions. Digital impressions replace the putty trays you may remember. You leave knowing whether this treatment fits your arch and what it will involve.
Getting Your Mouth Ready
Some patients need groundwork first, whether that means removing teeth beyond saving or treating gum infection so the tissue is healthy. This stage protects everything built on top of it. Nitrous oxide sedation is available at any point you want it. You move forward knowing the foundation is sound.
Placement Appointment
The area is fully numbed before anything begins, with nitrous oxide available if you would rather relax through it. Your dentist positions each post exactly where the scan indicated, then attaches a temporary arch during the same appointment. Most patients describe pressure rather than pain. You go home with teeth in place.
Fusing and Healing
Over the following months, bone grows around each post and locks it in place. This is osseointegration, the process where titanium fuses with bone, and it is what makes the finished arch so stable. It typically runs three to six months. You wear your temporary and carry on normally.
Your Final Arch
Once the posts have fully fused, you return for the appointment that finishes everything. Your temporary comes off and your custom arch is secured, shaped and shaded to suit your face. The bite is refined until it feels right. You walk out with a full set of teeth that stay put.

What to Expect After All-On-X Treatment
First 24 to 48 Hours
Expect mild swelling and tenderness around the sites, both of which respond well to a cold compress and over the counter pain relief. Rest, stay with cool liquids and soft foods, and put strenuous activity aside. Most patients find this window considerably quieter than they had braced for.
First 1 to 2 Weeks
Swelling eases noticeably in this stretch, and many people return to work within a few days. Soft foods stay on the menu while your gums close, and careful cleaning around each site keeps things on track. By the second week, most patients have largely stopped thinking about it.
Long-Term Healing
Across the following three to six months, bone fuses to the posts beneath your temporary arch. You will work, travel, eat, and go about your routine while that happens quietly underneath. Brief check-in visits let us confirm each post is integrating the way it should.
