Dr. Gery P. Benza, DDS

Since 1982, Dr. Gery Benza has cared for Naples families, and he is now in his 45th year of practice. Originally from Binghamton, New York, he graduated from Catholic Central High School and completed his undergraduate studies at SUNY-Binghamton. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio, and went on to found the practice patients know today as Galleria Dentistry. Across more than four decades, he has treated multiple generations of the same local families.

He is committed to doing beautiful dentistry and remains an avid learner. He takes extensive continuing education classes to refine his skills and bring the latest in dental materials and technology to the people he treats. Sit down in his chair and you will find he would rather spend a few extra minutes talking through your options than move you along quickly, and he gives care in a gentle, compassionate way.

Dr. Benza and our team have received honors from patients and from his dental peers. His peers have voted him a Top Dentist in Gulfshore Magazine every year since 2011, and he has received a People’s Choice Award in the Dentistry category every year since 2001. What those honors reflect is the standard he set for the rest of us: individual attention, and dental health you reach with as little stress and discomfort as possible.

Outside the office, Dr. Benza is happily married to Sandra, a hygienist who has been part of our history from early on. They have three children: Kristen, Anthony, who now practices alongside him as an owner, and Sarah. He stays busy golfing, traveling, and spending time with family.
